Hi guys just wondering if any one knows of any WiFi hotspots near Bass Lakes on H27, or there abouts. Children want to take their laptops but villa does not have tinterweb access. Is there anything near by? Is there anywhere we go to access tinterweb nearby at low cost?????

Thanks

Roma

Panera Bread at the Loop offers free access. If you go mid morning you can sit for an hour or so (they even have plug sockets around - but remember to take an adaptor).

The Danish pastry are lovely and the sandwiches are extremelly tasty. We used to get one between two of us. YOu also get the choice of a piece of fruit or packet crips (chips) to go with them. The soup is superb too.

There are a lot of people there with laptops flashed up, some even having meetings. We used to go there a lot before we got the wifi in the villa and now only go to enjoy lunch instead of frantically picking up mails and surfing the internet.

You could be cheeky and 'find' a villa with no security on their wi fi!

Or rather find one and ask!

There is an internet cafe as you go on the 192 from H27 where I am sure you can use your laptop. The charge used to be $5/hour. There is also the library on the 192 and also the library at Cagans Crossing which I am sure willhave wifi.

The World of Coffee have an Internet cafe at Lake Buena Vista Outlet Stores. you can sit inside or out.

Store Details
407-239-9262
15533 Apopka Vineland Road
Orlando, FL 32821

I haven't used this myself but have walked by on many occasions. It costs $5 for half an hour or $10 for the hour.

The library on the 192 at its junction with 27 is wi-fi and they told us at Christmas they are more than happy for people to use their laptops inside during opening hours and outside in the car park (should you wish to sit in a car at night) and use their wireless.

Think some Dennys are also wifi.

It's illegal and we would never advise anyone to do it.

I didn't know it was illegal! I have wireless at my villa, and it is unlocked. Is it illegal for me to have it unlocked? I have deliberately left it unlocked as I don't mind others using it if they want to.

No - it's perfectly ok if you choose not to secure your wireless network.

Back to the original topic of where to find wifi access in the Orlando area now...

The library at junction of 192 and 27 has moved to a larger new building at Cagan's Crossing (across the road from Walmart). It has free wireless internet access and print facilities.

Kissimme St Cloud has free internet access for all residents and visitors. You could sit by the lakeside (there are picnic tables and bbq stands) read a book while the girls 'network' all for free.
