| hello everyone , i hope you have enjoyed re living it with me , thank you for some really wonderful comments , its been a pleasure
tuesday 6th may .rest , swim and a liccle shopping we had done really well , and with a lot of fun planning we were really pleased with what we had managed to do so far , and with a few long days behind us , we thought we deserved a time out after all its such a shame to have such a wonderful home and not get the use of it
it was a lovely morning , infact they all were , we only had rain for around 20 mins , all the time we were there so no grumbles there i cooked breakfast , we allowed ourselves a lie in then we were sat outside at the pool reading our florida books must really recommend ......brits guide to orlando 2008 and disney world with kids FANTASTIC reading , infact the only 2 books i read in over 20 years , so you can tell how commited to this trip i was the sun was up , and usually was totally over the pool by 11.30 we didn't have the pool heat , but to be honest we are pretty tough in that respect and it didn't stop us going in it at all , if that would have been a problem , our management team was only next door and we only had to call them for any thing we needed and i wouldn't have hesitated to pay for the pool heat , by 12 , we had our cd's playing and were having the best time doing a spot of aqua arobics we had decided to go to epcot for the illuminations tonight so we knew we could have a nice easy day we really had a lovely morning after getting ready , we heading out for a spot of shopping , we had missed an exit one day and discovered a nike factory shop so after dropping in there last week , we decided on another visit its on the highway 192 between marker 8 and 9 we bought vest tops for under $10 and daniel got 3 pairs of trainers and my sister got a pair too all for under $100 ...how great was that !!
we called in a few "tat" shops , just for a look but to be honest after calling in a couple in the first few days we knew it was all the same , and you were far better doing any disney or florida gift shopping in walmart in our opinion .you couldn't beat it!!! we bought lots of mickie goodies etc inc t shirts for only $5 each (and they wash lovely ) key rings , fridge magnets , mugs , nightwear i bought a lovely pj short set with care bears on them for only $8 for both on sale
we were on our way to epcot now to check out a couple of things we had now decided we wanted to do after all and of course the fireworks lots of people were leaving as it was around 7pm when we arrived ....oh after popping in a new walmart we found for a few supplys and of course goodies after daniel had informed us that there was ACTUALLY something in the dome , we read up and discovered it was a ride after all kids eh , they know it all we walked straight on to it and it was brilliant spaceship earth , a slow moving ride , but totally great and worth a look for sure we also walked straight into nemo and friends which was aaaahhh cute (when you find out the orange small one is nemo we had a nice little stroll round and then headed for our place for the fireworks advice was to stick near the entrance ...... and we got a really great spot just beyond the fountain in front of the lake it was pretty busy by now , so we had a little wait IT WAS SOOOO worth it the fireworks were amazing , and again i really don't want to spoil it for anyone looking forward to going to see this display , but we totally loved it well worth the later night and the wait 10 /10 oh i really want to tell you all about it (zipped mouth) the advice on the spot so , to get out pretty quick was fireworks finished at 9.15 and we were in the car and home having my first beer of the day by 10 pm and we were 20 mins or so drive from epcot so can't fault that at all the organisation at all the parks puts us to shame totally fantastic!!!! can't praise it enough , every where we went
me and my sister were at a concert here in sheffield last night and we live literally 5 mins drive away from the arena we were in the car at 10.15 and didn't reach home till after 11pm, so you can tell the difference ....organisation is the key !!
couple of beers and a quick read up on tomorrow and we were off to bed after i lost 2-1 to daniel at pool
wednesday 7th may .....busch gardens (amazing) we were on the road by 9am as we didn't know if it opened at 9 am or 10 am .it was 9.30 i was a bit scared as this was to be our longest drive yet and although i was armed with a couple of maps , it was still going to be an hours drive anyway off we went straight run , no problems , as we knew we were only minutes away macdonalds popped up so we decided to pull in for a coffee (restroom) 3 coffees please ........would you like a free chicken sandwich with that ma'am ??? ooooooo i think we would please well hubby took the deal and we had a quick cheese burger well a double for a $1 actually just down the road 5 mins we were there
now when people say this is the hardest park to find .it is true map quest is the best map i printed off so take time and look for the roads , we did make 1 wrong turn , but on the wholes its easy to find , better that the shuttle buses i think , as you are not restricted to times just take your time , and its very do able if anyone is worrying over driving there
please make the effort to go here ........it was one of our lovliest days , and i think people may decide against it , because of the distance its a deffinate (in our opinion ) we all loved it this is surely the place for the BIG coasters out there not us sorry but still fantastic to watch after our planning , we decided we could , at a push do scorpion alas it wasn't working today .........oh what a shame..yahooooo we took the skyride to congo , that was a lovely ride , you get to see all the animals , and its not too high really so you do get a great view we decided to get the water rides out of the way as we knew we really weren't going to ride a lot of the coasters , but still , even if you are not a lover of the rides , don't let that put you off visiting , there is so much more to see and do here , and will still be a full day out congo river rapids wicked , we really liked the water rides then we headed for the tidal wave WE WERE SOAKED .....ALL OF US , it didn't miss anyone daniel then took to the bridge where you get more soaked all over again (looks great on video ) as does the soaking form sheikra , you can stand as it comes down , and it totally soaks whoever is standing in its path very enjoyable sometimes the simple things are the best i had read up about the bird gardens this was .well what a memory please go here if you have kiddies who can appreciate it
as you go in to the big avery , you can buy a small pot of nectar it was $3.25 ,to see the results i would have paid $325 i kind of knew what would happen , but the others had no idea, as soon as we got inside the most beautiful birds were queuing up for the little pot daniel had in his hand he was a little scared , but an attendant came right up , and told daniel how to hold the pot better , and gave him a few tips i think he had 3 at once
what a really lovely memory , you could see in his eyes it was really well , beautiful
we rode sandstorm , and we got a free beer to at the beer tasting
we saw lots of fantastic animals including the elephants that were just been watered as we were going past , to see them mouth open just loving the hose pipe , it was so sweet , and picking up the dust with their trunks and spraying it over and under themselves it was so nice to see makes you really appreciate what you are seeing , especially when the little ones copied too the giant tortoises were HUGE
after daniel said that this was his most wanted thing to see the white tiger

we did such a lot today , and the animals are out of this world , so please try and go , if you think it will be something you will like we loved it
thursday 8th may shopping and magic kingdom another rest morning ...... we were getting a bit like dopey wasp's by now decided on the main thing for today was to do the spectromagic parade and fireworks at magic kingdom so another couple of hours just taking in the lovely villa , and a few coffee's by the pool then we took a trip to florida mall .....oh and the massive toys r us at the side there we JUST HAD TO go there first then we had it on assurance from the child that he would be sooooo good when we went to tha mall and did our shopping well , he bought lego with his money , after assuring us it was SO CHEAPER THAn IN ENGLAND let the child have some fun we thought , spend all his money he was given , and as he said , nananan and grandad , did give it me to spend ok go spend your $30 love he had a ball in there , but was really good and stuck to his budget we went into florida mall , but to be honest , we really weren't looking to buy much we had a bite to eat in the foodcourt , and had a look round , its a lovely place , depending on what you want , i guess there will be lots of bargains to be had daniel bought a nintendo ds game again ITS MUCH CHEAPER THAN ENGLAND ...i have to get it but it was half price , as i looked for the same one before we left home , so ds games are a good buy too he was soon over budget and on the borrow bless him
wel,l will need to TOTALLY for sure finish off tomorrow sorry everyone , but you just get the flow and its time to sleep have to catch up on this jet lag good night for now thank you all again sharon
