firstly thank you all again , i am so glad you are enjoying it , so here i go with part 3

to margaret , and to susan about the simpsons ride
it is a simulator , you are in a carriage , and stay in the same place , apart from it moves a bit with the picture ,well moves quite a lot actually and the visual is in front of you and to your sides too so you get the full effect , i can't says its rubbish or awful , as , as i said it really is amazing the effects are fantastic ,to make you feel you fell off the end of the world without leaving your seat has to be pretty sick ..sorry i mean fantastic !!

i really won't spoil it any more for people that are looking forward to going on it on their next visit

at least i can say i went on it more or less in the first week it opened ...no one has to know i didn't see what happens i will have to blag that bit

here comes the next day.... sunday 4th may our wedding anniversary aaaaaahhhhh
i really fancied animal kingdon for our special day , so daniel said that was fine by him
so after we opened our cards .....still have no idea how the postie knew where we were staying but anyway , we put them up in the villa , which was a nice touch
we headed out
we had our plan of the things we wanted to do while we were there , and top of mine was the jammin jungle parade at 4pm
we headed straight to the kilimanjaro safari , as we heard it was very popular . and even early there was a 40 mins wait , not too
bad we thought , but i must say that this was the only ride where the waiting time was totally incorrect , we finished up waiting for well over an hour but, as this was the first time this had really happened , we can't and won't complain as on the whole every waiting time we experienced was almost 1/2 of what was stated ie 20 wait , we had usually rode the ride , and was on to the next , but anyway
saying that it was a lovely experience , we saw lots of animal , including , elephants , lions , and the giraffes where lovely , it was worth the wait , and as they say every safari is never the same
we weren't too convinced about the white rhino , hubby swears it was a fake

the tree of life is an awsome site , all the many different animals you see , and you keep looking and seeing so many more
the gorilla falls expo was fantastic , and we saw some lovely gorilla's
we rode dinosaur and we all really liked that , it was a bit bumpy , but the dinosaurs were really scary i think we waited 10 mins for this ride
primeval whirl was another shocker , we walked straight on to this , it was pretty wild , i am not too keen on the coasters that go round a sharp corner , and look like they aren't going to make it and you are gonna fly off at any second
we played a couple of the stall games and won a big dinosaur

time went really quick this day , and it was soon time to make our way to get a spot for the parade , we did get a good place , not far from the end , and it was brill , we really loved this parade , to see all the characters in safari gear was so cute

we then headed back to asia , we had seen everest and i kind of said ok , but then i totally went off the idea so we had to put it to the vote .everest of kali river .guess what won

we rode kali river rapids , i really love these rides , we got really wet , and i mean wet
please note ......try not to wear white cotton shorts when planning to go on this ride not a pretty site as daniel soon informed me after he eventually stopped laughing , oh well , an hour later , and i was dry
time was getting on and it was a 5pm close i think , so a really great day , and still lots of time for a nice relax back at the vlla before bed time
on our way we stopped off at golden coral eatery , i had read some good comments about it on here and when we saw it a few times we decided we would give it a try
well it was really lovely
$10.99 and $4.99 for daniel ....i know awful , he is 10 and its for kids 3 -9 , but it wasn't me , the guy said 3 adults and a child , and i said ......... no 2 adults , a senior and a child thankyou
the choice is great , lots of lovely salads, turkey , and all carved meats , and fresh vegetables , soups and a real good range of desserts , we really enjoyed it as we all eat different , and there was something for each of us , with no trouble at all
wish some people wouldn't be so greedy though , filling plate after plate and just wasting it , thats bad , why not just take what you want , and go get more if you want to , there's no limit , we had more clean plates brought to our table than we could handle
jmo
a very enjoyable meal in deed , and just enough room left for me 2 beers back at home

monday 5th may .AQUATICA
we got our tickets on site , i added them after the park tickets , with no trouble at all , and i am so glad we did , it saves the queing even if not a lot of money , so that a bonus in itself
daniel loves water parks and was so excited about going to equuatica , especially after he saw it from the top of atlantis ride in seaworld a few days before
its a wonderful park in our experience , very colourful , and great for all ages
we got sat right on the beach with the wave pools right in front of us , took our beds and headed for a dip after getting a locker we only took a few things with us , so a small locker is $8 and you get a $3 gift card on returning the key
we did take a cool bag with us , but no sandwiches were allowed in the park , also , the best idea of freezing capri sun juice pouches was the best ever , drinkable ice packs !!!
but no straws allowed either , so just to bare in mind when visiting here
the guide was not too informative we thought , not really knowing what was a start ride , and work up to bigger faster ones
so me and my sister asked an attendant , and he was very helpful , gave us the rundown on all the rides which was great and really helped us
we started on loggerhead lane, where you get the 1 or 2 man ring and just float and relax ....once you manage to get in them which is the only scary thing about this
then we went to tassie;s twisters which you actually get to from the lane
this is a 2 man ride , down a short slide and into a spinny thing .how many times you will go round is not certain , we saw a single man go round 6 times before going down the hole
me and hubby managed 2 and a 1/2 , and then entered the drop backwards
wooooooooo lived through it just
daniel loved the walkabout waters , and the bucket drop is real fun to see , after we eventually let him go in there on his own , and we sat at the side , he said , he loved it , although the water jets were a bit battering on the ole arms etc for us adults
my hubby took daniel on the taumata racer which is 8 slides
side by side (i think 8) and you grab a mat and hold on head first
me and my sis wouldn't do this but again the boys loved it , although hubby did get a pretty good cut to the forearm from catching a seem in the slide ....had to head to first aid for it dressing , they were great , and asked how he did it ??
maybe we should have gotten a t shirt for the injury , just glad it was nothing serious
we then headed for hoo roo run
this was about a 20 mins wait and again like the information guide not being too informative , there was no wait times either for any rides we went on , so it was pot luck on how long you would wait

this ride is pretty quick , but its really a woooooo hooooo yahooooo one loved it

all the eating outlets are again very reasonably priced and lots of choice
but please note .what i would advise in my experience is please please wear shoes ........its very difficult to walk from slide to slide in bare feet .the wave pool reading by 2.30 was around 98 deg its very painful especially as we all had shoes ....back at the villa stupid ....yes i know
if you don't have any and are planning a day at aquatica or i think any one of the water parks
walmart have the beach shoes for around $5 all sizes
aquatica price $18 plus , but they do say aquatica on them
just a thought
well i really thought i would finish tonight but alas ......no
sorry a little more to come
good night again
thank you ...this is so much fun , and i hope you are enjoying it as much as me , can't believe i was watching american idol ......in america ....this time last week

sharon xx

oh i think i have cracked the picture issue , so i will post some more tomorrow , as i am off out tonight and will also finish off my trip report

I will miss looking forward to your reports Sharon. You tell a great story. I felt as exited as you reading your report. The golden coral is my fav place to eat in florida as you have so much choice. It is really good value for money. You can go to a big restaurant and pay more than double and not enjoy it as much as the golden coral.
Primeval Whirl talk about motion sicknes thought my daughter loves this ride.
Your reports are great looking forward to the next instalment.

We too like Golden Coral, like there breakies, we too got 2 adults and a child (last year Adam was 11) but dont think it will work this year, no that he eats anywhere near an adult meal, and I certainly don't, all I have on an evening is jacket potato and salad and then a dessert.
