Hi, Just wondering if anybody has recenty taken the train down from Edin/Glasgow to Manchester airport and what was the trip like overall?What about the return journey with all these suitcases? Is there a limit to amount of luggage you can have on the train? Thanks in advance

Well it's about 4.5 hours changing at Preston.If you are travelling over the rush hour you will pick up some commuter traffic but most of that gets on from Bolton onwards and gets off in Manchester Piccadilly so nothing to worry about really.
There is no limit to the amount of luggage you can take on the train.
