Hi

We are coming over on the 9th May for 3 weeks and my wife was wondering is it warm at night or do we need a jacket of some kind.

Thank You for any help

At the mo, it's pretty warm at night and I don't wear a jacket, just a short sleeve T-shirt.

However, some restaurants, stores, etc are pretty fierce on the air con so you might need a thin jacket or cardigan to wear in those.

It is getting much warmer at this time of year, although anything is possible with the weather, I have always taken a sweater with me,whatever time of year we have gone, whenever we have gone out in the evening. Even I don't need it for outside, by god I always use it inside when eating, the A/C in some places is freezing.

We noticed this year that the air con in just about every restuarant was no where nearly as cold as it normally is. Even if it their way of saving some $'s I was very grateful as I hate being too cold.

A cardigan or jumper is the only thing you will need in FLORIDA at this time of year .
It goes a little cooler at night but not like here so enjoy your holiday .

I would agree totally with Blott. Some of the restaurants do have their Air con on full tilt and a jumper or cardy is a good idea. When you leave it is warm enough to not wear it.

I was the only one out of a family of 5 who found the air con too cold. I hadn't taken anything so unfortunately I had to go and buy a nice disney jacket to wear in the restaurants

The Coldest Restaurant we have ever been in is Dennys Diner, our teeth were chattering and I had to go outside to warm up, and that was in the evening!!!

I find some restaurant, very cold especially if you are sat right under a air-vent
Outside at night time in May will be lovely and warm.

You lucky thing, Blott. Nice and warm while I am still in sweatshirts! Seeing the weather on my homepage for Orlando looks like you had thunder and rain today though? Looks good for the next few days

Nah, no rain or thunder for us so someone else must have had it instead. Still wall to wall sunshine...

Forecast for the next week or so is high 80s or low 90s. As usual, clear blue skies at present. Temps seem to be going no lower than 65 at night. Bear in mind the low temperature is early hours of the morning (around 5:00am) with evenings still around the 70's.
