| Just throught I would pop in and let you know how I am doing. We were in Florida for just over 3 weeks and returned last Tuesday. I managed to keep my eating in check with not too many binges but did enjoy the cheesecakes, eating out and drinks did flow more than usual. I put on 2lbs but it seems to have disappeared after a couple of days at a health farm on Thursday and yesterday. Back to target weight and now just have to keep checking.
Well done, Paula and Pamela for the weight losses
Sandra, getting on the scales is a brave step - well done
Liese and Ruth, I agree with Fiona, it is having healthy snacks that can be picked up easily if you are tempted. I used to prepare a range of snacks and leave them in the fridge. This worked for me as if I didn't, it used to be the odd packet of crisps, bar of chocolate or gooey cakes.

| | Well done Paula. I am going back when I get home next week, time to get back on the bandwagon, not been doing very well trying to go it alone! Of course doing my back in the first night of my holiday has not helped, but amazingly enough I seem to have lost a couple of pounds, nearly fell of the scales in surprise this morning. Amazing what a diet of strong pain killers can do for you, as it certainly has not been the food diary! | Fiona www.orlandovillas.com/Villas/148.aspx | | Report this post to a moderator | goto top of page |

I am joining slimming world on Thursday evening, but started my diet yesterday.
Does anyone know how many syns the Quorn sizzling burgers have or are they free? I had one at lunch time with 57g of brown roll, lettice and tomato and it was yummy.
They are 1 syn each on both red and green days.
Welcome to the thread. | Paula

| Well done Janice and welcome back to the thread. You certainly are on track to have a good week.
Having just returned from 3 weeks in Florida and a week in LA I piled it on again Good news is I have managed to lose the extra pounds by this morning, but am now still 9 lbs over target weight. Must get back to the class as Alan's year as District Governor starts next week in earnest, so eating out every single day for the first 6 weeks or so, sometimes lunch and dinner
I just will have to resist the bread rolls and deserts if I can....
