Haagen Dazs Vanilla Swiss Almond flavour ice cream. My favourite all time flavour but have not found it i the UK.

Also shops like Bed, Bath and Beyond and Linens 'N Things with their wonderful selection of all household items. I just loved those shops and would happily spend hours in them.

We also bring back some tablets called "backaid" for my hubbys builders back and footballers knees that play up. We asked the pharmacist over here if there was anything equivalent, they contain acetaminophen (paracetamol) and a diuretic to help relieve swelling, but apparently there is nothing licensed in this country. Of course strictly speaking that means we probably shouldn't bring them back but as he takes them over there occasionally we figure there is no more risk and neither of the ingredients are banned substances.

Forgot also always bring back an assortment of pancake/waffle and cake mixes so we can still get our fixes when we aren't there.
So also have brought back US measuring cups and jugs (their cup measures 8fl oz and UK one is 9fl oz.

And of course even though you can get it here Key Lime pie just tastes soooo much better in FLorida!!!

Just thought of another, Slush Puppie maker and mixes (proper one not toy) I bought one in Walmart for around $12 it's brill and great sitting by the pool on a hot day with a blue raspberry one in hand. Tastes just the same as the shop bought ones. I've had it 3 years and thought they would have them over here by now but havent seen them anywhere.

Had a look at those site Martin and as much as I am tempted to buy Lucky Charms and Mountain Dew, I just could not justify the price and would it be half as good as we would not be set on our deck in the sun in Florida

We were in a resturant in ST PETES beach and they had no root beer which we like so I aked for mountain dew and the comment from him was it is the most drink that has sugar in so I changed my mind and went with lemonade ,He said lots of americans had stop drinking it because of the large amount of sugar as we all know they are being told to cut down on fast food and sugar intake .

It is on the high end but all sugar soft drinks have a very large amount of sugar in them, some fruit juices contain similar amounts:

12 oz cans......
7Up (Cadbury Schweppes) = 39 grams
Coca-Cola Classic = 39 grams
Dr Pepper (Cadbury Schweppes) = 40 grams
Minute Maid Orange Soda (Coca-Cola Co.) = 48 grams
Mountain Dew (PepsiCo) = 46 grams
Pepsi = 41 grams
Sprite (Coca-Cola Co.) = 38 grams

You can get diet versions of most drinks in US supermarkets but not root beer or cream soda - at least, I've never seen them.

You can get a diet version of root beer in Wal-Mart, if I remember rightly it is Sams Choice which I think is thier own brand. Its not the greatest of root beers but not too bad.

we do always try and get zero if it is available Its for the children and they are only allowed fizzy as a treat, especially at home don't have it in the house. I try and not get them too hooked on diet as I think it is important to let them develop and realise that they are still growing.

I stock up with most over the counter medicines you can buy in walmart ,including ASTMA MIST inhaler, which is basically an inhaler that can be used for allergies and astma attacks . I took a very severe allegic reaction to cream used on a ice cream sundae , I thought I was going to die ,I just could,nt breath until I was given one of these by a pharmacist in Walmart ,it worked within 2 mins . I also buy large tubs of Walmarts own brand pain releaver [ non aspirin] . in this country you can only buy packs of 16 over the country ,but in the U.S you can buy tubs of 500 for $7 last us a year
