We had a lovely time DIANE it is quite a while since we have been in your town and surprised how much is going on around and lots more shoping outlets as well .
We went to look at the MIDLAND HOTEL to see how far on it is of beening finished and looks realy nice love to stay there for a weekend .
The model on the prom of all the mountain names are good .

For me it is a particular type of Clinique concealer that is no longer available in the UK and Hersey's cocoa powder for chocolate cake. I have to bring a supply of this back every trip for some friends too. Also (I keep thinking of things!) American pancake mix with Archer's Farms maple syrup, any variety, to go on them.

If any of you can live near a us military base in the UK, it is worth getting friendly with the staff. They have personal shops that carry lots of the regular stuff and much cheaper than walmart!! I have not been in one for while and security may be tighter these days but it is worth a try. The last items we bought were dual voltage/multiregion dvd players for $39.

I went to Walmart in Shanghai a few weeks ago looking for something for dinner and Oh my, what a difference.

Looking around the 'meat' section, you could buy almost ANY type of meat you wanted - I went veggie for the next couple of days

Didn't get to look upstairs though which I guess would have been clothes and household items. Will have a look there next time.

Almond Joy sweets and their dessert mixes are a must for Hubby and daughter its Junior Mints.

Neosporin (or any other ) antibiotic cream is another useful one we can't get here but can buy off the shelf if you have any cuts/bites that get infected but want to try to get rid of it without doctors appointment, which as we all know may be some time off when you need the treatment now.
