Busch gardens for the day today!
Got there before openning time and couldn't help laughing waiting to get into the car park at this guy making a complete idiot of himself with blaring music from his car and getting really annoyed that they wouldn't open up the kiosks early so he could go and park.Fair play the staff just carried on getting ready ignoring his rants when this guy was totally out of order.

Once in the park we homed in on sheikra. After 20 minutes of waiting and 1 empty car it was closed due to a faulty sensor.Never mind we decided to move on into jungala and have a nice chocolate with hot fudge sauce icecream (very yummy). The tiger enclosure was great but i didn't feel impressed with the whole area.I think after watching the adverts for jungala my expectations were a little high.

Nick decided to try Kumba for the first time and loved it

Then onto the congo river rapids and soon remembered why we had avoided it on previous visits -everyone was soaked down to their underware except nick who managed to escape the volumes of water i had thrown over me. it was great fun

Next we went over the park on the sky ride (pictures below)and 2 rides on montu (nick did)as there was no queue we then had a lovely dinner in the lower half of the crown colony restuarant -nick had a seafood salad and i had a beef gravy sandwich.
A walk to see some of the animals and to walk off the very nice meal we'd just had we caught a showing of the pirates 4d.The seats were soaking wet along with the low wall in front of our seats.Alarm bells rang that we were about to get fairly wet again one person even put up an umbrella!!

very pretty display

Nick and paige headed back to sheikra now fixed and up and running and waited about 20 minutes which was pretty good
Sat down for a rest with a nice cold bud and finished off the day watching tidal wave from the bridge where paige decided to get a little wet.

Went home after a tiring day looking forward to visiting Aquatica in the morning.
After an evenning meal in the golden corral we jumped into bed exhausted.

Happy reading

ali

We love Busch Gardens, can't wait to see the new Jungala, last visit we were not able to see any of the tigers because they were working in that area. Love the tidal wave bridge, picture
