Sandy Ridge is a lovely community, very central to all the Parks, the Interstate 4.
At Championsgate which is less than 5 minutes away, you will find a Chilli's, Publix Supermarket,McDonalds banks, gas station and host of other shops and restaurants are close by

Hi Nicola

We are staying at Sandy ridge soon
4 weeks and 2 days to go
We use Google earth a lot when planning our holiday, even though it is not up to date.
I had a look yesterday and the villas are now showing up.....looks like a nice area.....
Its a few years since we stayed in that area, I cant believe the amount of changes ! The images must be about 3 years old, so im sure there will even more changes now.

Nearest Wal*mart supercenter are
US 27 8.9 miles
Vineland Rd - off 192 9.20 miles

Nearest Target
9.3 miles
Supertarget
15 miles

I noticed when you turn left out of Sandy ridge onto the Osceola polk line road, travelling towards Champions gate, there looks like there are some shops at ? Reunion on the right hand side, does anyone know what they are?

Ellie there is a CVS, Pizzahut (TA), Chinese (TA), and Dunkin Donuts as well as a nail salon and florist plus another couple other adminy units. Great news for the whole area all these new eateries (not so good for the diet though).

There is also a new Publix opening on the opposite corner along with Khols department store which again is great news for the many vacation villa communities in the area.

Sandy Ridge is lovely Nicola, although I am somewhat biased It is lovely and quiet but everything is so convenient to get to.

Apart from the shops already mentioned it is so easy to get to everywhere else, with the I4 being only 2 or 3 mins away

You mentioned Walmart on Vineland rd but there are 2 others which are within a similar sort of driving time, Walmart at Medieval Times and Walmart at Cagans Crossing

Ask your villa owner to give you all the short cuts to these places !!

Have fun!
