This is my latest "must go" shopping location Great eateries available from 5 Guys burgers to Uno Grill and Longhorn steakhouse, laid out similar to the Loop, but personally I think it is better. Apart from speciality shops, Bath & Body works,Ulta Cosmetics and such, there is Jones NY,Old Navy, Ross,,Van Huesen, Nine West to name a few, Bealls Department Store, Super Target, Banks, home furnishing stores. They have a web, so worth checking out before you shop

And its on the way to Mount Dora which is a great place to wander round, lots of interesting restaurants and a fantastic boat trip up the river to see alligators and all sorts of wildlife.

It's a great place to go shopping! When we were there at Christmas they were just about to open a Bone Fish Grill there also which is one of our favourite restaurants!

We had a great meal in Uno's when there in February. I think it is better than the Loop and very quiet roads to get there. It is definitely on our shopping list in May. We spent too long in Bealls the first visit so unfortunately had to return to do the rest of the stores the following day

We found Winter Garden Village just after it opened last year - and it's now a favourite!

Very easy to get to from our villa (H27) and virtually no tourists (yet!) so very quiet shopping!
As I paid for my purchases (bargains!) in Jones of New York the sales assistant told me I was the first European she had served!

Andrew is more than happy to browse 'Best Buy' whilst I hit the 'girlie' stores! Heaven!

Can't wait for our next trip!

You forgot the best...............Mimis Cafe.

I used to drive past the Village quite a lot on my way to somewhere else (It's been open since last October) and fought it but when I saw that a few of my favourite stores were in one place I gave in!

Lynne, if you go up I-4 to exit 60 that is the start of the 429 and Winter Garden Village is exit 19

We discovered Altemonte Springs Mall which is north of Winter Garden . Again not half as busy as our usual haunts and a great selection of stores ,thats part of the fun finding new shopping places on each visit.

We like this area for shopping too especially as it's quicker and easier to get to than the Loop

Same thing happened to me with Joannes (not 192 before all the crafties panic), I tipped up to buy some Haloween fabric and it said on the door they had relocated to WG.
