Hi
Im going to Orlando in september and a looking to hire a convertable mustang, so does anybody know of hire a company that only has these in there fleet, because the thing putting me off is the "or similar" being a sebring!! i had the hard top model last year and hated it!!

We will also be hiring a second car (its a big group!) and would really like a pontiac grand prix gt or dodge charger, plenty places hiring these i know, but cant find one company who do these and the mustang

any help appreciated.

It's always hard to say, as companies are not allowed to guarantee a specific model. Some less scrupulous agents will tell you that you will definately get a Mustang (or whatever) when in fact they are the same as us and can tell you what you will most likely get.

Budget's convertible fleet is the Mustang, and you will almost certainly get a Mustang by selecting Budget as the supplier on our site, but there will always be that slight chance that you *could* get something else. Even by booking Budget direct they will say 'or similar'.

I like the Sebring and have rented it and the Mustang many times over the years. Even if you were unlucky and couldn't get a Mustang I doubt you'd be dissapointed with the Sebring convertible, especially as it's a new model these days.

As far as finding a company that does both the vehicles you want is concerned, it isn't that much of an inconvenience renting from different suppliers because they mostly share the same garage and desk facilities anyway.

We booked a convertible with Dollar last year but when we got to the desk we asked did they have a Mustang and we ended up with one.

We have had both and preferred the Sebring.

We've had the Sebring several times and last year had a Mustang. It felt as though there was slightly more room in the back of the Sebring but we will be renting a Mustang this year. We just loved driving it.

Forgot to say we ordered one through this site using Budget.

There is a new shape Sebring out which is a huge improvement over the old one. I'd even go as far as saying it's as good looking as the current Mustang.

I am here at the moment and noticed that the Budget carpark had a few Mustangs but also the Pontiac Solstice which I think is a re-badged (and re-bodied) Vauxhall VX-220 and the Pontiac G6 Conv.
