Hi everyone, I am going to Orlando in September and Staying at The Howard Johnson Inn on International Drive.

I went to Orlando in 99 with my parents i was only young (about 14) so didnt really pay attention on travelling home from the parks, I know we always got a coach though.

My hotel runs free shuttle buses to all the parks but I am a bit worried about getting back to my hotel at night. Is there still a coach service from all the [parks back to International drive? and if so how late do they run? will i be able to stay until the parks close and still be able to get a coach?

I am also interested in going to the Universal City Walk which is open till around 2am, how could i get home from there, is there a reliable taxi service?

Sorry for allt he questions, I am just a worrier!!!

Hi,
this is a villa web site so not much info about hotel services. All hotels have different services so it would be a good idea to ask the hotel directly.

I'm pretty certain they would run until the parks close.

We stayed somewhere where they had a shuttle bus many years ago and the last return from the parks was 5.30 pm.

There's no reason why you shouldn't get a taxi if that's the case with your accommodation but you'd need to ask them what times their shuttle bus runs first.

My guess is that the shuttle buses will run until after the parks close. If not there will be the I-ride buses. There will be a lot of people travelling at the same time so you would be very safe.

We got a taxi from Disney once. There are official taxi parking areas. They charged roughly $1 per mile.

This Howard Johnson is a mile from Universal Studios, three miles from SeaWorld, and arround, eight miles from Walt Disney WordŽ Resort.

The hotel provides complimentary scheduled transportation to all three places.

You will aslo be able to use the I-Ride Trolley, for getting arround I Drive. Your I-Ride Trolley Stop is 11:

Don't try to 2nd guess the shuttle times; check with reception when you check into the hotel, the will give you a schedule..
