Sorry about this but I am spending one night in Ft Lauderdale and the lady at the Motel we want to book only has an "efficiency" available. I have no idea what this is and feel a dork asking.......???

It is 1 room with a bed and small kitchen and a bathroom or shower room .
Enough for short visit .
