some friends of ours are staying in orlando for 2 weeks in april.they have a weeks holiday prior to this and are considering Miami, Naples or north of Naples.

we have not stayed in any of these areas and wondered if anyone has any advice.

Trish,

Have a look at the Gulf section on the forum or possibly move this post to there. Several owners on here from rotonda and a number of posts about the area. Its roughly half way between Tampa and naples so is a good base to explore the area. Fantastic beaches, restaurants, wild life etc.Boat trip to Key West, see the Dolphins or manatees

Thanks for your advice have looked in the Gulf section and found some really helpful posts, Rotonda sounds ideal for them but I'll pass the info on, cheers again
