I have a matching pair of pretty well as new condition genuine memory foam tempurpedic beds complete with tempurpedic bases and headboards. The size is 3 foot 2 inches by 6 foot 2 inches and the mattresses are 8 inches deep.
They are what we would call a single. These are not bunk beds!
The bases and headboards are a beige mixture color fabric.
These are the RollsRoyce of beds, not cheap lookalike ones or just a topper.
Cost well over $1300 each new, I am listing them for $500 each but would prefer to sell them as a pair.
These bases will NOT go close together to make a double, but the mattresses would if you used a different base.
These are located close to Kissimmee Fl and I could deliver them free of charge to anywhere reasonably local.

If you have never slept on one of the beds I would recommend trying it, you will never want a conventional mattress again.

And do not think it will be too hot in Fl for one of these, they are cool and not like the nasty old smelly foam mattresses we used to have in UK years ago.

I would recommend that in the unlikely event that anyone is now interested that they do some independent research on the Internet and judge from that. There will be various opinions on there.

These are for sale only because the owners now have a kingsize tempurpedic not because they were hot to sleep on.

If you are a costco or sams club member you should see the number of memory foam products that they are selling here in Fl. Every time we go there people are buying them, we did too although we just got a memory foam topper for our existing mattress a couple of years ago, a cheaper and less perfect solution but still gives us much better nights sleep.

I can't have the heating on in our bedroom since we got the Kingsize Tempur bed, it's so hot and this is in the UK.

I would second anorak's point about various opinions. Or better still take advantage of the free trial for Tempura.

This is quite a good site:

http://www.myfoammattress.net/info/about.html

I am still undecided about memory foam beds and I have slept on a few; however there surely can be no doubt that they are warmer than a conventional mattress - as more of your body is in contact with the foam. You 'sink in' to the foam; which is the whole point of the bed.

We sell all sorts of mattresses and beds - foam mattresses are warmer than traditional sprung mattresses - personally I love them - as for which is the best make.... I've read the which report and I have to say I agree with it.

We have a memory foam mattress at home and love it!
Can't say I've noticed that it makes any difference to temperature - but then I'm always cold - so maybe that's why I like it.

Poor Anorak - trying to sell the beds and we have hijacked the thread by discussing the merits of memory foam mattresses!

Both are now sold - on Craigslist free and effective - and you don't get people rubbishing your items either.

But if you look back on the for sale items , say for the previous one, the Lexmark Printer, no one commented that they are flimsy rubbish and the ink cartridges cost a fortune so they are a bad buy - and on the villas for sale people don't say - that is not on a nice lot, that was a bad builder, no one wants that number of bedrooms etc etc.
Opinions are great on a forum but on a for sale ad?
I remember when Mrs Babypowder advertised her car on here it turned into a free for all with people saying how it wasn't worth owning a car in Fl.
Anyway as I am firmly of the opinion that this is an ad listing part of the board I won't turn it into a discussion group.

Many people who pass their opinions would not be quite so insulting though.

Mike,

I sell stuff when having a clearout and it happens, people do comment about varioius things, it's just part of the course, I don't get animated about it.

I do have to say, I was a tad annoyed at your comments and should I go back and ask for a refund for the printer as it is flimsy rubbish and too expensive to replace the ink?

(It's actually ideal for the villa guests as we put our own expensive model away and I want to leave something for them).

I can't use a tempurPedic ..I'm now a sleep number fan..

I agree the ink costs a lot for a lexmark we have one ...but I find they stand up to wear and tear fine...a good little buy if cheap enough for a villa...I've found it far from flimsy...
