| We went to Celebration, it was a charity event with stalls selling food and drink, bouncy casltes for the children, face painting, a clown making balloon shapes etc. Bands played from 7pm until 1am and a firework display at 12, plus the "snow" in the market square. We hope they will put it on again this year. sue | | Report this post to a moderator | goto top of page |

| We too enjoyed Celebration. City Walk and Downtown Disney were both around $99+ tax for their events and as last tiem we went New Year we went to Epcot and were absolutely drowned and left at 9 after the fireworks we didnt want to risk the same thing happening.
This year though it was Tshorts and shorts even though we had jackets with us so was definitely better. The band wasnt brilliant but the overall atmosphere was good and the fireworks were amongst the best we have ever seen . | Babblin Boo http://www.orlandovillas.com/villas/92.aspx

| Epcot on NYE for us. Been a few times now, last time they did two firework displays, one earlier for younger familys and one at midnight Both were awesome they seemed to last longer than usual as well We ate in France last time, (which was very good), before fireworks. Plus if its very busy in the park and you have a reservation in one of the restaurant's you are guaranteed entry to the park At least thats what Disney told us | mike | | Report this post to a moderator | goto top of page |

| | We always go to Epcot too. Celebrate New Year at 7.00pm in the UK area, this year they had the Beatles tribute band playing. Then again at midnight. There is live entertainment all around the park and as already said the fireworks are fabulous. Ypu do need to get to the park early in the day as it is often full. | Majik | | Report this post to a moderator | goto top of page |

| Pleasure Island and the Ciywalk clubs etc will be out of the question then, unless you have one of the party looking after the 3 year old while the others go out, as the entrance to these clubs are 21 and over.
Celebration is much more family orientated, as are most of the parks both Disney and Universal to some degree although I would say more likely teenagers
We have been to Epcot three years running and have had a fab time, but as most places will be very busy, it will be a very long day. We have also been to the Epcot resort area of the Disney boardwalk resort and they have organised games and parties etc as well, As this is probably your first visit to Orlando at this time of year, going for the more organised events is probably a wiser move, | http://www.onlinefloridavillas.com/florida-vacation-rental-1253.aspx http://www.orlandovillas.com/florida-vacation-rental-1784.aspx
