Keep your chin up Maire.

Hope you find out was Lucys allergy is Julie. I know exactly what you mean about her being the baby, my baby Eve has just turned 6 and will always be my baby.

I've being reading through old slimming threads on here today (looking for new ideas) and it got me wondering where everyone had gone, Macka, Kaz and Julie even Baby Mach......how is Keeley??

Nicola is still going to SW and has now lost over one and a half stone. She is doing brilliantly, her little girl hasn't been well the last few days but I will let her know her absence was noted

Julie, big for Lucy - I hope you discover what's causing the allergy soon. Well done for staying the same

Marie, well done for resisting temptation, as a former choccie and crisp fanatic, I know how hard it can be

Julie, I think the problem with the directory is that there is no permanent consultant so with all the temps, probably no one is taking on the tasks, such as ordering new directories. When the magazines were recommended earlier on the forum, I mentioned that I hadn't seen any for sale and there are none, as again, they are on order. They only have the sample books and magazines to flick through at the group as they cannot be taken away.

good losses Pamela & Brenda

Julie - hope you find out what Lucy is allergic to soon

Marie for you too, hope your Easter improves. Try and turn things around and take your mil's jibes as compliments - they must mean she notices how good you are looking, she can't admit that so has a go instead

So far I've had a stay at home weekend, no nights out, no alcohol but I have allowed myself some of the chocolate fridge cake I made as an Easter treat for Mum & Dad

Enjoy the rest of Easter everyone

Julie

We've had snow here in Liverpool too today, although it didn't stick

Very good day food wise.

Raspberry Oats so Simple 7 syns
Milk 2 x HE A
Jacket potato with salad for dinner
Loads of Bolognaise left from yesterday so added chillis and had it with rice for tea.
Just had wholemeal toast with a little jam instead of butter HE B and 2 syns for jam.

No chocolate on show here at the moment, dreading tomorrow night though. It's easy telling people not to buy the girls eggs as they won't be eaten but if you were to replace the egg with a little gift it works out more expensive for everyone.

Our leader said 1oz of milk chocolate works out at 7 syns so I must be strong tomorrow, I'm not personally expecting any eggs as all my family know I am trying hard to loose weight.

The Eggs have landed well just one each for the girls at the moment but I've managed to get Eve sit and eat some breakfast whilst sitting with the egg next to her.

I will be good today, but I am having plain porridge this morning in case I have to use up all important syns elsewhere.

Have a lovely Easter everyone.

Paula if the eggs are going to tempt you it's far better to make the decision to have a little rather then resist all day then blow it and eat far more than you would have and end up feeling guilty, i speak from experience measure some out count the syns and enjoy it later with big congrats for doing so well

we are going to have a very very long walk today with Olly to see if we can counteract some of those extra calories my children are having, there is far too much chocolate about in this house, this year i did damage limitation and asked people not to buy them eggs and they still got 6 each my mum bless her produced cheesecake factory gift cards for us all yesterday

Hi Everyone,

Having a big problem with chocolate at the moment I haven't got an easter egg (hooray) but my daughter brought home Belgian chocs from her school trip to the battlefields last week and it has been my downfall!!

Went out to a friends for dinner last night. Couldn't resist a small portion of crumble but did abstain from the custard and cream!
Today so far:
Had porridge for brekkie - that good

Then 3 choccies

2 hard boiled eggs

Family around for dinner tonight - veggies, mash and some sort of quorn dish!! Hope I can avoid the pudding tonight!

Will let you know how it goes tomorrow!!

Hope everyone is doing well and managing to avoid choccies!

Happy Easter

Frances

WM bread (HE B)
total syns = 10

I know it doesn't look like much but it has been so hot here today (42c - sorry to all those covered in snow) that I just haven't felt like eating. All I have wanted to do is drink - lots !!

Hope you all are having a great long weekend

Red day today.

Porridge for Breakfast HE B with raspberrys which I mixed in myself but nowhere near as tasty.
Milk 2 x HE A
Ham and salad for dinner
Roast lamb and veggies for tea, no roasties or chocolate cake for pudding.
No syns yet!!!!!!!!

So happy I bought the directory I will have a galaxy caramel egg later while watching Lost 8.5 syns.
My MIL bought me a giant bar of dairy milk but I don't see her often so she doesn't know I'm trying to loose weight.
The girls now have a total of 16 eggs between them but as it's Caitlins birthday in two weeks I'll melt most of them and my bar of chocolate and make a birthday cake with them.

Hope you are all having a happy Easter ladies. Had a good day today son and his girlfriend MIL who was very quiet for dinner, step daughter and her partner turned up unexpectantly also for dinner so had a great day. I was very good apart from having too much wine. Absolutely no chocolate at all!

Well, Easter is almost over and hope too much chocolate did not a lot of damage if you are a chocoholic

Not been around for a few days as been out and about. It was my birthday on Thursday so we were taken out to a lovely restaurant by my son and his wife. It was a 4 course meal and of course I did not resist the pudding - my downfall most of the time.

We then went to our caravan where we were almost blown away by the very heavy winds. The site had a hot cross bun and coffee afternoon so I treated myself to one...yummy. I was very very tempted to have another, but watched my husband devour another instead! Fortunately no Easter Eggs for me and no choccies bought for my birthday thank goodness.

Tomorrow my husband Alan is 70!!!! He does not look or act it, and it is going to be a special day as we are renewing our marriage vows at the local Parish Church. We are then off to a 'posh' restaurant - he does not know about - for lunch, and later in the evening I have arranged a dinner for 22 in our function room at our Pub. That will be another surprise for him hopefully. Fortunately he does not read this forum!!!

Weight wise I have not dared to get on a scale for 7 days, but just may have a go today

Anyway, enjoy the rest of Easter and hopefully your weigh in days!

Sandra
