Do we not now get an e-mail notification if we have received a DM any more ? as I haven't had one for the last two I got.

must admit i havent either but if i wait a few seconds longer then i will get one, i just open the inbox immediately i see a message

I wonder if you have the reminder email option turned off?

To find out, click Inbox at the top of any forum page, then click the Preferences square icon and look at the Email Notification section.

Yes it was switched off, strange as I am sure I have had them in the past ! but thanks for that !

Hmm - that sounds odd as I can't think of any way of it getting switched off unless the user themselves does it. Not to worry as it's all now working as you intend .

Again the last two DM's I have had I have not had a notification e-mail sent , checked the box again and it is on and have checked spam folder. Very odd.

This has been happening with me over the past week too. Since advertising a lot of things for sale, I have had quite a few DMs and it has really shown up that sometimes I get email notification and sometimes not.
