Should i wait until closer the time or snap up any deals i can find now? Looking to go in April and use as much time in Millie's School holiday as possible. Booking things separate i have got two weeks Flydrive leaving April 15th and two weeks at Bahama Bay for £1900 for the 4 of us. Not to sure what to do as never really booked in School Holidays

Hi Daniel,

Are you sure those dates are in the school holidays? I know the schools around us have moved their holidays away from Good Friday and Easter Monday but most go back on either April 12th or 19th and then they break up again at the end of May.
The Easter school break is certainly one of the most popular times for UK visitors to go to Florida so I wouldn't leave it too late to book as you might find the flight prices going up as seats sell rather than coming down.

Millie goes back on the 22nd so it would only be a week out of school which i have been informed by the school isn't a major issue at her age.

I know. The problem is i cannot find a flight on the VA website on those dates it is just Flydrive on the VH one. If i could find a flight i would book a car from here and it would be cheaper still!

Many people have booked the flydrive - not paid the extras for the car - and then booked a car from these sites. They simply don't turn up to pick up the car booked through the flydrive package.

You could also try British Airways as an alternative to Vigin Atlantic or Continental as they both fly direct to Orlando from the UK. You could then book your car through this website.

Book the flydrive but don't pay for the extra insurance with VH or pick up the car.

It varies!
This is from another site "Spring break varies depending on the college, and is usually staggered over approximately 6 weeks. However, most college calendars post March 15-23 in 2008."

Robert is at University of North Carolina and they have Spring break from 5pm 7 March with classes restarting 9am Monday 17th March. Several of the universities in Florida are also on the same week.

You can sometimes get a better flight deal by adding a few days economy car hire, than the flight alone- so I would do that if I were you, and book your car at a realistic price [with good after sales advice] on here!
