I've just had a potential guest ask for some photos of the Rotonda area and it reminded me of the ones I posted 3 years ago. As there are a number of new forum members it seemed worthwhile putting the link on again( apologies to those who have already seen them.)
The aerial photos are quite something:

Also here is photo of Rotonda to give you some idea of the lay out:

Great photos Andrew. Some of the canal shots could almost be from the back of our villa. Made me feel quite homesick.

They are great photos, it would be interesting to follow up on the feasibility of a waterway to the Gulf.
Cannot wait for my next visit to our home there.

The possibility of a waterway to the Gulf has been discussed at 'lengthy' RWA meetings many times and I think has been shelved due to the cost. Pity really as it would add a great value homes and put them more on a par with South Gulf Cove.

We stayed in Rotunda recently and have to say it is a lovely place, although we did get lost a couple of times, I don't think people realise hoe big the circle is!

It would be lovely to sail from our back garden to the Gulf but we would all have to have small boats to get under all those bridges
