My neighbour has flown out to Florida this morning for 3 weeks, i am so jealous!
I cant believe i feel this way, i really need to go back and soon

We are planning to go Aug/Sept 2009, but this depends on if the Harry Potter park has finished, It could be 2010 till it opens

I think we all feel like that at the moment .
Our neighbors have gone to SPAIN and at least they are having good weather as we are in for rain most of the week .
Oh for next visit to FLORIDA .

I think it is the constant rain here that makes us all long for Florida. We are actually going out in 2 weeks but don't get too jealous as this is a working holiday.

By the time you go out in 2009 or 2010 there will be lots of new attractions and new shopping opportunities too with the Posner Centre.

Enjoy the anticipation

I know it's not much consolation Ali but if you rummage through the Photo threads you might get just enough Florida to keep you going.

Thanks guys,

I have read a few trip reports, mine included, it was really a good holiday, and looking at someone recent reports they have pictures of celebration it looks lovely.
Its nearly 12 months since our return and it feels like yesterday.

Hi lynne what is the Posner Centre ??,

I have just priced up for 25th September 07, and we could go for £2,700 flights villa and car, i wish i had droped the lottery tonight

The Posner Park Project is now being developed and will have a great range of shops, restaraunts and entertainment. It is going to be near the junction of the I4 and the 27. The first shops will be opening next year and will includ: Target, J.C. Penney, Belk, Dick's Sporting Goods, Best Buy, Staples, Ross, Michael's, PetSmart and Books-A-Million. It will be great for all the developments in Davenport and on the 27. In the later stages it will have housing development too. We won't have to drive so far for serious shopping in the future.

I understand that work really has started now.

I couldn't imagine having to wait so long . We were last there at the end of March, we are off next month and after the dire 'summer' here I can't wait! I know we'll have a lot of work to do on our homes but we enjoy having something to do. Just looking forward to some brighter weather!

This is the longest we've been between visits and the trip reports here are great, especially the ones with photos. I also log onto the WESH live weather cams, there are 2 just up the road from us at Champions Gate so it's great for seeing the sun at 'home' .

Good luck with the lotto Ali and have a great time Liesa .

We were hoping to go early August and were very upset when we were unable to. Instead we saw one of our sons off to North Carolina to go to university.

To compensate for this and cheer us up we have booked to go to Florida for 3 weeks at Christmas and the New Year. Can't wait to go.

You are all soo lucky going so soon, we have just returned from Portugal yesterday and had a little fix it was a nice relaxing holiday but we all said that it didnt come close to Florida. The driving was harder in Portugal than Florida. Any how we have said we are going back to Florida for sure 2009
I want to put some pictures up from our Florida holiday, it really makes a difference reading peoples write ups with the pictures.
Thanks
Ali

When we feel like this, which is OFTEN!!

We put in one of the Disney promo discs to remind us why we love it all so very much!

Failing that, our DVD of photo's of our home and holiday snaps!
Always a good pick-me-up!

I'm in need of a Florida fix, moved to Ho Chi Minh City in May which is just about as far as you can be from Florida, with lots to do in SE Asia not sure when we'll be back...sigh.

Really envious of everyone talking about their next trip.

We'll be back one day.
