Well having had to leave last year, we are just about to move back to Florida having just got a new E2 visa. We have been living abroad and filed through a foreign embassy and were lucky enough to get a 5 year visa.

Hi Julie
will you be going back to the same line of business? And did you have to sell up? Where did you go after Florida? Sorry for the interogation I dont mean to be rude.

Answers to Parrothead. Portugal, though they have no treaty with the US which made things difficult, Spain would have been far easier. Different business and different type of business as we managed to sell the first before we left and are under a non compete.

Julie,
Excellent news - I think we all appreciated how much you wanted to return.

Even better, is that this forum will continue to benefit(I hope) from your knowledge of Immigration and Visa procedures.

You have without doubt consistently been the ‘voice of reason’ on that subject and your advice unfailingly accurate.

Hi Julie

I am so pleased for you. Your leaving was quite a shock. Though I have never met you in person, you have offered good advice to me and others over the years.
Well done in getting a 5 year visa!

No we actually managed to sell our home in Celebration late last year and right at the top of the property market and it is too far from where our work will now be and for my son to commute to UCF. We are looking at Avalon Park which is a Celebration clone off East Colonial, same style homes and a town centre with Barnies, restaurants etc, just the same. Obviously not Celebration as that was the first and is the big daddy of them all but very similar and quite a lot cheaper as well.
