In todays sentinel, the mickey mouse arm,wand,epcot sign and stars are coming down when spaceship earth is closed for refurb. It will re-open sometime in November.

Oh No!!! I like the wand! I know lots of people don't though so some may be happy. I think it adds a bit of sparkle to Spaceship earth!!!!

I like the wand as well. Many don't like Epcot but It is one of my favs. Hope it is open for March 2008

was at Epcot the otherday. Arm is gone and big cranes are removing the other stuff. Spacechip Earth is closed - no signs even saying what it was. ONe side of it all is blocked off. Made it time consuming to get out after the Epcot fireworks as it slows everyone down.

Fireworks not so impressive this year - or are we getting used to them now!!! Missed the parade beforehand, they were always very good. I noticed also a lot of 'clearance liness' in WDW shops. Have they stopped selling off stuff to the Clearance Outlets? Or cashing in on a market they missed before!
