Our older daughter has to move rooms on a temporary basis for the summer while she is at uni. We have a spare mattress but no base. If anyone is having a clear out and has one we could use that would be great.

We are in North West London she is in Sheffield so any where on the M1 between the 2 would be fine. She doesn't need it till the end of June.

now i'm getting rid of a metal bed frame but i'm in the north east so probably no good to you, pity though as it's quite solid

you could always try ebay for a metal bed frame?

have you tried freecycle? no money changes hands and we help to keep things out of the landfill sites, have a look see if there is one in your area, we got a lovely pine double bed base which had been very well looked after for our daughter when she moved in with her boyfriend, try it through yahoo or google look for your area and ask
its great! its free!

How far North East our daughter is in Sheffield?
