This has probably been asked before, but since I have bought a couple of books and am reading lots about Orlando on the web, I have read confilicting articles about taking picnics to the parks, so I thought I should ask the experts - yes or no ?

Thanks

Diane Reid

We have always taken picnics to the theme parks and unless anything has changed since last July it should be fine.

We always take food into the parks. Your bags will be searched, but have never had any problems.

There are some lovely areas set aside in the parks for your picnic. Put your bag in the lockers until you want lunch. If you are staying in a villa, put bottles of water in the freezer the night before, they will be lovely and cold for lunch.

Your all making me want to take food to the parks with us now. When we have all been to florida we used to take food with us. When I just go with my daughter we just eat there. Even tough It is mostly rubbish at the parks. We take a cool box with ice blocks leaving cold drinks for when we get back to the car after a long hot day. I dont know if I should be sayin this but I also leave a pair of shoes in a bag in it to change into. As your feet at the end of the day are rather weary to say the least. Everyone should try this you feel a lot better for it I promise.
