It seems the ride needs to be beefed up NOT!!!

Floorless is going to make this a ride thats needs to be revisited.

http://www.buschgardens.com/BGT/sheikra_webcast.aspx

Feel sorry for anyone out there from the 28th May for three weeks, as it will be closed for this work to be done, hopefully its not going to overrun.

Interesting to hear the first reports of the floorless version

Even more reason not to go on it Only joking, its not my cup of tea but it will certainly make it more intense.

Nooooooooooooooooo!!!!

We're out there until June 20th, so there's a slim chance we might be able to fit it in I suppose.

This is the only ride in Florida were I actually feared for my life.

I suppose I'll have to go on again just to try it without the floor.

I so wish my dh enjoyed these rides !!! It's no fun queuing and ridng on your own ! I think there needs to be a section where you can advertise for roller coaster partners instead of golf partners !!

We'll be there in early June, will it be extra busy at Busch gardens on this ride? My daughter can't wait to get on it. (She will be on her own!

Any reports of the new floorless Sheik-Ra yet? Who is going to be the first from the forum to ride on it, I wonder?

It did indeed re-open on Saturday 16th, and I rode it on Monday 19th. It is better than before (from what I can remember).

We did Sheikra at Xmas and it was a top ride, so going floorless we will just have to visit Bucsh Gardens again

I stand corrected. Monday 18th it was. We can probably share the title of first riders as I was there at roughly the same time. Wish I was there now in fact

Yeah, my dad an I rushed round and did all the other big rides, then got there to find it was closed!!! We ended up waiting in the end (Sheikra was the main reason for us going to Busch Gardens this time).

Is this the ride that actually stops at the very top for a few seconds and then drops. Definately would not get me on it but the kids did and even they were green when they got off!!!

Now this is floorless my family think it is one of the best rides in Florida. When they first rode it they were not that impressed but now they reckon it is awesome.

Did this twice today, on the front. I'm sure it's an optical illusion that the track sort of dips away under your feet as you look straight down. Awesommmmmmmmmmmeeeeeeeeeeeec
