Our neighbour in Rotonda emailed these photos today. They were sent to him by another Rotonda resident and as you can see were taken just behind the swimming pool through the pool cage.

I was surprised how many Bobcats there are in Florida.

I have see a lot at Merrit Island Game reserve(my Kennedy Space Centre)(although not as close as the photos) on my visits and a warden told me there are literally hundreds.

Hi Andrew

It is is amazing how much wild life there still is around Rotonda area especially at dusk. Friends of ours were cycling along Sportsman Road when a Bobcat walked towards them. We have also seen a family of feral pigs and one day an Eagle suddenly swooped down and caught a fish out of the canal at the bottom of the garden.
