A man with heart problems collapsed at a Walt Disney World water park and later died at a hospital, officials said.

The man was climbing the stairs of a water slide at Blizzard Beach on Thursday when he told his wife he wasn't feeling well and went back down, Reedy Creek Fire Department Deputy Chief Bo Jones said.

At the bottom, he fell and went into cardiac arrest, Jones said. The man, who was not identified, was later pronounced dead at Florida Hospital Celebration Health, Jones said.

The man's family notified the company of the death and said he had a heart condition, Disney spokeswoman Jacquee Polak said.

He was on the steps of the Downhill Double Dipper, where visitors can go up to 25 miles per hour on side-by-side slides, according to the park Web site.

The death was the 10th involving Disney World rides and water-park attractions since late 2004. Many have been attributed to health problems.
