I have just been on youtube, and if you put in a search for WDW Kitchen Sink you can actually watch a short video of one of these being made.
This is the first time I have seen one in the flesh, so to speak, and it is now easy to see why they are so difficult to finish - even if a group of you tackle it.

I wonder if they do a low fat version

Kenny

i had one of these last time we was over, it cost $21.95

you get 8 large scoops of ice-cream
couple of bananas
couple of mars bars
choc brownies - cookies
cherries and lots more toppings
and a whole can of whipped cream

the worse bit is the cream, because you are totally
stuffed just eating the cream

and no i didnt finish it

Yes I admit I am. I've promised myself that I won't eat much when on nights (just cereals for now) so my stomach is mounting a mutiny of biblical proportions. Because of this it is making me look at food related topics and this particular one just popped up.
It's not as if it's all I do on nights though - I do get busy sometimes - and seeing as though my particular job is to produce good quality aviation fuel to supply 20% of this countries needs you lot had better pray I keep my eye on the ball

You can get to Beaches and Cream by driving to The Beach Club Hotel on Disney property. (Near the Swan and Dolphin) Tell the guard that you are going to Beaches and Cream. The waits at peak times can be long as the place is small. It is located in the hotel near the pool. There is a carry out door and a dine in door. You need to dine in. By the way, they have great burgers too. The onion rings are the best around.
If you park at the Boardwalk, walk over to the Beach Club Hotel, (blue building) Go into the hotel and walk past Cape May Restaurant, out the double doors and you should see it.

when we go - we drive to the boardwalk - hire the bikes that are welded together with the surrey with the fringe on top look ($20-25 per half hour) - do 2 laps of the lake (difficult to do up-hill when laughing and panting!!) - then take the boat across the lake to the beach club - and collapse in beaches n cream - order our kitchen sink which is $21.95 (only gone up $2 in 9 years!!) and then leave half of it in a terrible mess and go home happy little bunnies!!! Only just found this thread but I now have a definite 'must do' outing for our visit this Christmas. We eat a lot of icecream in our family but think even we will have to get one between the four of us.

they will give you enough bowls and spoons to share it out between your family, on the menu the item says serves 4 or more, i don't suppose they get it ordered very much just for one person to eat

be warned though they deliver this to your table with the maximum of fuss and declare it to the whole restaurant with flashing of lights and a description of what's in the dessert

We always park at The Boardwalk, then you can walk around that lake to Beaches & Cream restaurant. You will need to show some photo ID to park on the car-park here though.
Have a great time Julie.

Julie, I was informed by a very reliable source (Mizzy) that it was through the
Yacht & Beach Club Hotel near the swimming pool. You may be able to park at this hotel too.

If you park on the car-park then walk up to and through the Boardwalk Hotel, then walk around to it. It looks like it's directly opposite the main Boardwalk entrance but over the lake.

We had the kitchen sink a couple of weeks ago, four of us shared it, They turn down all the light and make a big exhibition of serving it to you. WE just about finished it, and the waitress came over and Martin said "how about a refill" and she said "yes", she has seem some clients take straws to the bottom of the bowl.

We were so stuffed, we had to take a nap and after that, we didn't want to have any dinner.
