Publix for food - Walmart for eveything else.

Although, when we were over in April we bought a rotisserie chicken and fresh baked loaf from Walmart - and it was better then what we have had from publix!!!

Although I voted walmart, for food it would be wynn-dixie as they are so close to the villa, I am in and out in minutes.

I like Publix for food and enjoy a trip to Super Target. However I probably end up in Walmart the most as my daughters can find plenty to look at whilst I go off and do my shopping.

I'd never be able to walk to a supermarket though....I always have more than the family can carry!

You must go to Stop n Shop then. I always freeze in the one near us. My daughter works in one and always layers up.

I like Publix for Florida though.

It's got to be Publix for food (frozen key lime pie, scrummy) and Wal-Mart for everything else although we have a big choice as Albertson's (sugar free ice cream, mmmmm, yummy) and Winn Dixie are also nearby.

Has to be Publix for food and drink. I still love the fact you buy cold Beer from the shelves.

Albertsons seem to be in ?Osceola?Orange and Publix in Polk?
But personally its Publix for food (although a good browse in the non-food section!) & Walmart for the rest. Its amazing that each Walmart is different. Our experience is that if you see something on a 'strange not local Walmart' then dont think you can pop in the local one to get it later!
Publix Birthday cakes, personalised, are very good and good value.
Their carry to car free service is unparralled?

We've heard we're getting a Sweetbay supermarket near our community - and it will be within walking distance. Anyone shopped in one of these?
