| Is Disney's Boardwalk near Downtown Disney? If so could someone provide driving directions, & is there a charge for parking. Thanks badabing | | Report this post to a moderator |

| Disney's Boardwalk is definately worth a vist. Its one of my favourite places.
We tend to go at night for a meal and a lovely stroll around the waterfront pier. There is a wonderful Sports restaurant, ESPN Club that the children love to go in (tv's showing every sport everywhere you look!)
Its also a great place to watch the Epcot Fireworks.
Make sure you take identification, as this is asked for as you enter the car park.
Hope you have a great holiday | Lisa http://www.onlinefloridavillas.com/florida-vacation-rental-2975.aspx

It is the quaint looking place indeed. We popped in for a nice evening stroll this last trip as we'd never been before and will definitely go again. It is near the Fantasia Mini Golf and the road to it is opposite the back entrance to MGM (if you know where that is)

| When we've parked at Boardwalk, the guard has asked to see photo ID so it might be an idea to take photo ID with you.
Maybe we look suspicious | Edited by - stuart on 09 Jul 2006 14:45:21 | | Report this post to a moderator | goto top of page |

| We were asked for ID too, I think it's because it is a resort area and not just a shopping/recreation area like Downtown Disney.
It is part of the Disney Vacation club resorts | | Report this post to a moderator | goto top of page |

That's a freat idea about the fireworks. We have never been to Broadwalk, but went past on a boat between parks. One more for the to do list! | Shirley http://www.orlandovillas.com/florida-vacation-rental-850.aspx | | Report this post to a moderator | goto top of page |

| | It's also only a two minute walk to the back entrance to Epcot. You enter in to the World Showcase at France. We stayed at the Boardwalk a few years ago. It's a superb hotel but if you have kids it doesn't quite have the atmosphere of the value hotels (i.e no mickey) and not a lot of food choice. | | Report this post to a moderator | goto top of page |

| We were at the Broadwalk this Easter, and we pop by most trips. I love that the place is different at different times of day/evening and of course throughout the year. Mickey was there in his Sourcer's outfit having pics taken with the children a couple of Halloweens ago Nice to stroll round, nice options to eat, nice to take a boat ride, including to MGM as well as Epcot. You can infact walk to both parks from the Broadwalk. Have to watch your parking though | | Report this post to a moderator | goto top of page |
