This is the toy that we hired for a day.

It wasn't for me - it was for my kids.......honest.

It's amazing how easy it was to drive as well - even Mrs Pegasus had a go and even though she is a diddy 5'3" managed to throw it around as though it was a Mini.

A fun day was had by all

My husband and the girls would love one of these, so they are not just big boys toys, big girls love them too. It would be even better if our friends we go on holiday with don't have one, then the girls could pose something rotton, we just might do it on the sly next time we go.

Hi All

As so many people are asking here is where we got the Hummer from

All the prices are on there. Some other things to bear in mind are that you need extra insurance for the day and that is £103 (yes - £ not $ and that can be organised through Lux) and you also need to have a credit card swiped that has $1000 available on it as a security deposit.

Whilst we have been here we have also seen TV adverts for Hertz Fun Collection. That shows Hummers and all sorts of other expensive looking cars so that could also be worth looking into.

Other than that there is a Hummer dealership somewhere on Sr 434 South - we never got round to finding it though - maybe you could pop in and ask for a test drive for the weekend

Hope this helps, and for anyone thinking of doing it you will have a blast - just be aware that you will get a lot of people looking at you.

If you do rent one....and I'm not sure if it happens much in FL yet...but Hummers are becoming a target for damage...and you could end up having your picture taken not because people like the car...but to win a prize in the countless give the finger to a Hummer web sites that are online...

I hired the prowler for hubby from that company, he had it for 3 days, the day we had to return it i had to practicly breack his fingers to get the keys from him

he even washed and polished it
