Regal Cinemas today had the official opening of their new 16 screen complex at ‘The Loop’ shopping centre. This is located at the junction of John Young Parkway and Osceola Parkway.

We attended the charity opening yesterday to view the inside and watch a film. We often go to the cinema when we are Florida and this new one is now on the top of our list for the place to go.

What makes it so good? Well all the facilities outside the auditorium are the same as most of the other chains. However inside that changes all 16 screens are digital and all are stadium seating for a clear view. This has even been upgraded with more than enough room between your legs and the row in front for anyone to walk down the row. All the seats are sprung recliners so you can really relax and enjoy the film.

There is also a wide range of eating places at the loop so you can plan for a full night out.

You will probably find me in one corner of Panera Bread which is opposite the cinema. They have freshly baked bread and pastries and make up sandwiches with the bread that are really good.

Best of all they have free WiFi access and actually encourage people to come in and do work while they have a drink or snack. It's best to avoid between 12:00 and 1:00 as there seems to be a lot of locals coming in for take outs but even so the wait was only 10 mins.

Regards Dave

Sounds like we will have to add The Loop cinema to our list with a visit to The Panera before or after.
