| davefloridavilla, I must agree with you. I have never understood the mindset of folk on here who will not even willingly reveal the address of the home they are advertising when I have asked if I can go and look at the outside as a premliminary.
And not to mention the price - well its crazy!
And then of course owners on here, even recently, have mentioned the reason they didn't sell it was because they didn't want potential buyers looking around when the home had renters in!
And the number of owners on here trying to sell who don't know the sq footage of their home, or whether it's timber or concrete block construction !
I gave up trying to buy on here, most sellers here have an inflated idea of the real current sale value of their home in any case. They are living in a dreamworld. At the right price a home will sell overnight here, even now.
This is not the time to sell if you can avoid it, but its a great time to buy IF that is what you want to spend your money on, note I do not say "as an investment".
I put an offer in on a 3000 sq ft short sale preforeclosure in January and the bank who effectively own it have not made their mind up yet, I had to reduce the offer by 20,000 this morning as prices have sunk that much in 3 months, from 220,000 to 200,000. And that home was 371,000 new only 18 months ago! The banks here are swamped with so many foreclosures they cannot deal with them in a timely manner which is losing them even more money.
Anyway, anyone on here selling, get real! And then see your house sell quickly. | | Report this post to a moderator | goto top of page |

| I have emailed you the exact link for indymacbank who have a website which ends with dot com of course, there are lots of foreclosed properties on there, the site is easy to navigate, just go to the florida listings,it would get deleted if I posted it here. Other than that a lot of realtors websites have a free link to the mls which allows you to search by your chosen criteria, they will usually say if they are short sales or foreclosures or whatever. I already have property out here and just want somewhere much larger and newer for myself with 2 master bedrooms and a triple garage backing onto a conservation area, and not in an STR area so the ones I am looking at now wouldn't intrest anyone on here, but I have bought others over the last few years.
