Does anybody know the dates for Thanksgiving?

My calendar doesn't list it.

Thanks

Yes - I agree - 23rd November. We plan to be there - it's a great time to be in Florida.

Just for future reference so you dont need it on your calendar, it's the last Thursday in November every year.

Karen if it was the 3rd Thursday last year 2005 it would have fallen on Nov 17th but was on 24th, but I could be wrong.

2006 23rd Nov
2007 22nd Nov
2008 23rd Nov
2009 26th Nov
2010 25th Nov

here is a list of Thanksgiving dates from now to 2010, if you take note in the back of a diary they come in handy.

It is indeed the 4th Thursday of November, so it is usually the last Thursday but with exceptions.

I usually pick up one of the 50c date books each year when in the US so it has the holidays listed. It's always handy.

I think the correct way of defining Thanksgiving is to say that it is the LAST Thursday in November unless that day is the last day of the month when it moves to the preceding Thursday.
