Although we have never found Busch to be too busy, I think I would avoid doing a park on the bank holiday weekend and do them on other days of your holiday.

Dont go on a weekend, many of the local residents of Tampa have annual passes and go on Sats and Sundsys, it is much less busy in the week when they are at school, work etc. This seems to be more the case with Busch than the other parks because they are mostly thrill rides that you can go on again and again, and then part of it is a zoo, typical place for a family outing over a weekend or quite a lot of the local teens seem to have passes.

We have always done Busch Gardens on a Monday as this is what the 'Brits guide' recomends. It never been full and you can normally walk onto the rides even in the summer months.

We are planning on visiting Busch Gardens in early November and I'm hoping it should be less busy then.

We have been in the summer months and if you go on a weekday ist never very busy. Avoid weekends at all cost so i am told.

Wednesday after Easter. Literally just come back. Walked onto virtually every ride and show even at 2pm. Longest wait was 15 minutes and that was for the train! Did all the roller coasters, just remember to check any fillings or dentures before going on Gwazi - lion or tiger side, it gives you a good shakin on this wooden coaster
