OMG Liesa your school photo's look just like mine..... I will try and find some and scan them in, everyone needs a good laugh on a Friday evening, and boy will they get that when they see mine

Liesa you look like the Fenn Street Gang haha

Jan you look like something out of an Alec Guiness movie and your brother looks like he'd have made a good Tory politician haha

I'll see if I can find any pictures of me in the early 70s with my wing collar shirt, brown and orange pattern striped tank top knitted by my nan with a 'gorgeous' and 'co-ordinating' brown and orange dotted skirt where the pattern was completely the opposite...finished off with striped knee length socks. I think parents back then were colour blind or something.

Oh and to add insult to injury...back then I was ginger...of course I was known as 'strawberry blonde' to help eliminate embarrasment and misery for all hahaha

i went for plastic shoes in a shop for £1 a real bargain!! red and yellow and blck bold stripes also my white shoes with green and red on them (god what was wrong with my taste?)
also our trainers were ones we wrote the latest love of our lives on and then feltip pening it over a few weeks later!!!

Who remembers those horrible Blanket coats in the 70s, jelly shoes and black bomber jackets where you had your name on the back on the back with huge iron on white letters...and every time someone shouted your name you looked back thinking someone knew you, only to run up the street with embarassment?!
