I have just booked tickets for me, hubby and daughter to see Avril Lavigne at Tampa Fairgrounds in August but my 2 boys aged 12 and 16 didnt want to come.
Has anyone got suggestions as to what they can safely do in Tampa while we are at the concert so we can spend the day at Busch Gardens? The other alternative is for us to leave them at the villa and just go to Tampa in the evening.

I think I would go to Tampa in the evening unless Busch Gardens is open very late. Not sure if there would be anything to do in Tampa for lads of those ages. If they were a bit older they could go to Ybor City which is buzzing at night time.

How late do the malls stay open?
I had thought of the cinema but it depends what's on.
Thanks

The malls were open til 9.30-10pm.

One is just down the road from Busch, opposite the Holiday Inn. The other even bigger and better one is a bit further along. Anyone in any of the shops will be able to give directions.

Yes they are better than Orlando, sort of, depending what you want.
