With the new forum software we now have, linking to an image to use as an Avatar is much simpler:


  • Please make sure your avatar is no bigger than 100 by 100 pixels otherwise it will not display.

  • Find a suitable avatar you wish to use and note the full URL to it, including the http:// e.g. http://www.orlandovillas.com/images/avatar.gif.

  • When logged into the OV forums, click on Profile at the top of any screen.

  • In the Avatar URL enter the full path as determined in the first step above.

  • Click on Preview Avatar to see what your new avatar will look like in the forums.

  • Once you are happy with it, click Submit at the bottom of the screen.
