then upload the picture onto the forum website using "insert file attachment" in the reply to post section

your not the only one you disappeared onto page 5 and i thought i'd lost you

for the next part you need to go into your profile at the top of the page into a section called my files in it you should see a picture of your avatar

right click over the picture with your mouse and copy the address into the avatar address of your profile, first having erased what is already there then

dont forget the submit button at the bottom of the page

and that should be that

Thankyou for putting up with me, I just tried using the instructions from John, but nothing happened.

i see you've got it on the forum website now you need to get it into the avatar

the address from the forum picture needs to be in the avatar address of your profile

the bottom address is the one you want in the avatar address of your profile

the top address is the one you have at the moment

Believe it or not I have, it still wont work. Thats in between picking up my 2 teenage daughters who missed their bus.

I completely understand if you have had enough, I have, things like this never work for me.

It was probably the wallpaper, if you accidentally right click on a picture there is an option to 'set as background'

Lo and behold you end up with a full size picture of whatever picture it was as te back drop on your PC
