    Excess refund policy

I am booking a vehicle to collect in Toronto with US car hire. I am being offerred excess refund policy but no enhanced roadside assistance are these the same things?
It is £80+pounds, a lot more expensive than enhanced roadside assistance.
    can anyone clarify?

This is different to ERA. Excess Refund Policy is to cover any excess payments you may have to make in the event of damage to the car etc. In the USA there is no excess payable, but there is in Canada.

Thanks For prompt response Roger, we were a bit confused as it mentioned covering chipped windscreen, new locks etc and a lot of things covered by era.
Is enhanced roadside assistance confined to Us rentals?

ERA is generally for USA rentals due to those items not being covered. If you take the Excess Refund Policy in Canada then it is not so necessary to take ERA.
