Stayed in the Novotel near Times Square at the end of September. Great location, excellent breakfast (a bit pricey) although you always pay extra in a city.

    Would reccommend.

Can recommend the Warwick New York on West 54th Street. Big rooms, views down 6th and only 10 mins from both Central Park and Times Square.

we stayed at the New Yorker and found it to be pretty central for most attractions and reasonably priced (for New York!)

Thanks for the feedback i am booking a trip this week to new york and we are stumped on a hotel since this will be our first trip to new york. need a weekend off from work. I just checked out the Belvedere Hotel really nice and the price is with in reason.
