    Gated complexes

We have stayed at Windsor Hills and liked being on a gated complex. Can anyone recommend any other gated complexes around the Disney area?

We are on Terra Verde Resort which is gated. Emerald isle, Lake Berkley and Solana are also gated. These are the ones that spring to mind but there are many more which I'm sure other owners will be able to recall for you

Astor Cove at Crescent Lakes is gated but I'm intrigued about the reason for particularly wanting a gated community as you're cutting out a large number of perfectly safe communities from which to choose.

we wanted to stay on a gated community before and stayed at Terra Verde twice over the last 3 years, both times it was absolutely fab but like Blott says you will be missing out on some fab villas, even on Terra Verde the gates were left undone at times with no one managing the gate, made us see things in a different light, wouldnt make gated your top priority, just look for other things you would like to have/do first, you'll have a great time looking and then going!!
