Never flown with BA to Florida - pros and cons please?

Pros and cons? They fly direct into Orlando International from either Heathrow or Gatwick, that's about all there is to it.

If you go to Miami they have 2 flights a day and you can fly from Heathrow - if that's a benefit to you - it is to us.

Easy and polite check-in. Staff are polite and sort any problems out. We've had delays - given meal vouchers, plane cancelled - eventually bring another one (try that any other company!), lose your luggage and deliver it to your villa the next day. And give you $100 to buy emergency kit. I think the best way to judge a company is how they sort the problems out.

We try and fly with them always, but you have to book virtually on the day the flights get released to get the best prices - or risk leaving it to the last minute. Best buy £125pp to Miami in Feb this year.

Ater flying to and from Cuba via Iberia (AWFUL!) the bliss to get on a BA flight from Madrid - the welcome, calm modulating tones of the BA captain and charming staff.

I would like to go BA next October, but that could be too far in advance? And it's usually a higher rate!
