 General |
| No Spam | Stay on topic. Posts unrelated to the forum topics are not allowed. Please post general comments/conversations in the General Chat forum. Nonsense posting only to increase your number of posts is not allowed.

| No Crossposting | Post only once on the forum that is most related to the topic of your message. If there is no such forum, post it on the General Chat forum.

| No Referral Links | You are not allowed to post a URL where you get money or some type of compensation by referring others. See our Advertising section below for more details on what is allowed and what is not allowed.

| No Personal Attacks | This includes harassments, flames and other forms of annoying behaviour.
Also, we have a strict policy of no un-sunstantiated comments about any individual or company at any time. Any posts like that will be removed immediately they are found.

| No Illegal Things | Discussion any illegal activities such as software and music piracy, other intellectual property violations or indeed anything that may be deemed to be illegal are not allowed.

| No Adult Content | This site is intended for a family audience. Links to adult sites and/or material is not allowed.

| Forum Usernames | Forum username must be chosen to comply with our rules on advertising - see below for further details.
In particular, usernames must not contain the @ sybmol or be clearly relating to a website name e.g. a username of orlandovillas.com would not be acceptable. |
| Administrators and Moderators | Certain users are designated as either Administrators or Moderators.
Their job is to ensure everyone on the forums sticks to the rules. If they find anyone in breach of the rules, they will amend or delete a post without warning and reserve the right to lock users who commit any serious breach of our rules out of the forums. |
| Advertising Rules |
| Advertising | The forum is not a vehicle for free advertising of services or goods. No advertising of: - personal websites
- email addresses
- links to websites with which you are personally involved or gain commission from
- advertising text/slogans
- avatars advertising your own villas
- avatars advertising other websites
are allowed on the forum.
These will be removed if posted and persistent or blatant offenders may be locked out of further use of the forum.

| Recommendations | If you wish to recommend a service which you have found useful to others on the forum, that's fine but please note that the Administrators and Moderators reserve the right to edit these at their discretion.
I know we may get some flack for 'censoring' blatant advertising, but we do have to be sensible about what we allow to be posted. Imagine ITV television advertising BBC programs - it doesn't make any business sense!
Our business offers excellent value tickets and car hire (as well as many other services) - Like with any other product, there will always be someone somewhere that sells a similar product for a similar or lower price! We do aim to provide great value sevices with excellent customer service. It would be daft for us to promotote the advertising of competitors blatantly on our own website!
These forums cost a surprising amount of money to run (the amount of visitors and traffic means using a dedicated server with a huge spec) as well as a lot of our own time, and we make minimum profit on our services - It is important that we protect this income to cover our costs, which is important to everyone - visitors to Florida and villa owners alike. |
| Non-home owners on OV sites | Please limit your profile signature to either your user name or your 'real' name (whichever you wish). No slogans, quotations, etc are allowed and should be removed if you already have them.

| Home owners on OV sites | You may advertise a link to this only, together with your name as above.
To insert a link to your OV advert, go to your advert page, highlight the top address bar, right click and copy it. Go to your Profile and right click and copy it into your signature.

| Requesting a Rental | Please ensure that you do this via the enquiry system and not via the forum. You'll find the links to these on the top row of forum links (note that each website has different owners so, if you want the widest response or choice, then you need to make an enquiry at all the sites).
Home owners are not allowed to respond to enquiry requests via the forum - not only is this unfair to verified home owners who may not be using the forum but there is a possibility that you may receive an offer of a home that is not verified. |
